We are the first design consultants to adopt the principles of The ABC of Quality Sustainable Design as the ethos that drives our practice. Embracing the principles of Co-PLACE, we strive for balanced solutions that consider designs not in isolation, but in their wider contexts.

We also understand that the way we live, work and deliver places are changing rapidly, and new technologies are supporting this change. Dr Laura B Alvarez
Director
Laura covers the design, strategic planning and innovation aspects of projects. She is a trained community organiser with vast experience in placemaking engagement.
Jared Goodhead
Director
Jared liaises with clients and partners, using his background in communication and customer service. He has an extensive background in education and is also an experienced editor with a keen eye for detail.

An urban design practice based in the Midlands, founded by Dr Stefan Kruczkowski, co-author of design toolkit ‘Building for a Healthy Life’. Stefan has extensive experience and knowledge of working on major mixed-use developments and a strong understanding of the scope (and limitations) of the British planning system and how to deliver place quality.

An established and progressive architecture, design and management Practice based in Nottingham. Church-Lukas places human experience at the heart of everything they do to create property solutions that deliver commercial and social value.

Professional hand drawing illustrator, Marc Turley can bring ideas to life with an impeccable graphic style.

A company created by Dr Andrew King to address missed opportunities throughout the design and building process. They look for real opportunities to help people flourish by providing an outlet for their energy and talents; creating more value for those involved in developing and using the built environment.
Eclectics UK
A community empowerment company based in Nottingham, founded by Michele Campbell, a registered community organiser committed to addressing social inequality. This has been her main driving force as a Community Practitioner and it has been central to her work in community involvement, participation and enabling.
Design:Midlands
Many panelists from this organisation work closely with AG on a regular basis. Design:Midlands is an independent, impartial resource providing design support for local authorities, communities, decision makers, house builders, businesses and design professionals.
Idearte
An architectural practice based in Buenos Aires. Their ethos supports the idea that quality, functionality and beauty must be balanced from the outset. They believe client and stakeholder involvement is critical to create successful designs, and they take pride in working with unconventional, innovative practices to co-deliver viable, environmentally conscious, socially-minded projects.
Freelance workforce
We work with a wide range of freelance professionals that support our design work. These involve: photography, 3D visualisation, illustration, writing and editing, developing, graphic design, social value specialists, community organisers and engagement specialists.
