NOTTINGHAM ARCHITECTURE & PLACE SOCIETY (NAPS)

Postponed due to COVID-19.

Following up from the outcomes of an event that took place on 20th August 2019, this is the first meeting to discuss the opportunity to create a Nottingham Architecture & Place Society (NAPS), an independent panel to review, comment, protect and act as patron of contemporary architecture and urbanism in Nottingham, which would be based at the Urban Room.

This informal meeting aims to explore the need for such organisation, the capacity within local industry to sustain it, the scope of its outreach and the potential influence on design quality and higher education in Nottingham.

Further meetings would focus on setting a motto, aims and objectives as well as the constitution and status of the organisation.
